“For myself I am an optimist - it does not seem to be much use being anything else”
~ Winston Churchill
Hi there. First off, thanks for visiting Autumn Sundays. I started this little blog during the summer of 2009 when everything in my life started to change. I was fresh out of college, jobless and drowning in student loans. Naturally I did what any ambitious lunatic would do — I moved to New York City to make something of myself. After one incredible internship at InStyle magazine, a short stint in the finance world (eek!), and finally landing a job at Good Housekeeping magazine, the battle wages on. Stay tuned.
I wanted a place to gather my thoughts and record the journey. Autumn Sundays began as as a way to share my adventures with a community of people I love and it has taken on a life of its own.
Furthermore:
I'm a world traveler who prefers no place more than her parent's backyard in rural New England.
I believe in honesty, positivity and kindness. These are the three things that completely balance my life. And chocolate, of course.
I think God is legit. Too legit to quit. And I believe in karma — that what we give to the world is what we get from the world.
So there you have it. Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to leave me a note or email autumnsundays(at)gmail(dot)com
